Camera Cabin was set up on Main Street, Swords, County Dublin in 1985. Having served the local community for 36 years they decided to move the business online by creating a new website and online shop. This was to serve their loyal customer base of amateur and professional photographers but also to promote their many auxiliary services such as picture framing, photography services etc. A blog was also requested, this was to be used to keep Camera Cabin customers up to date with news related to the store.

This client’s business is branded clearly as a camera and photographic equipment retailer but they also sell gift items from world-class brands such as Waterford Crystal. We added many ways to navigate the site, allowing customers to browse by product type, by brand name, or by price. The brands that are available are clearly identifiable at a glance and the homepage allows individual items, or collections of items, to be showcased.
We created some new page templates from scratch and added this to the Shopify store. Our engineers then added a much more flexible filtering mechanism that allows customers to find what they want quickly.

At Camera Cabin, we recently launched a new online store to help our customers during Covid and into the future.
The site was built by AOS Web Services who worked to a very tight deadline to get the site across the line for us.
The online store has some very advanced ecommerce functions and allows us to run sales and promote specific products. We are delighted with both how it looks and how it works.
