Gourmet Pantry is a popular artisan deli located in the heart of Kinsale, Co. Cork. The business was expanded to include a dedicated kitchen facility 10km north in the town of Riverstick.
They were using an external Click & Collect system which was not very effective so AOS Web Services were asked to create a custom e-commerce website that could facility four separate ecommerce functions and three different order fullfilment mechanisms.

Setting up custom e-commerce websites is an everyday task at AOS. Having the website support two different e-commerce functions in the same site makes the job a bit trickier. This website required four different functions, as depicted by the four tiles on the homepage. Three of those are e-commerce systems, those being Click & Collect, Local Delivery Catering and finally a regular Online Shop. The business model subsequently changed so Catering orders were also made available via Collection. The fourth tile represents a general informational service about Gourmet Pantry’s Deli, Menus etc.
This required a lot of custom coding and reworking of the standard functions within the Shopify e-commerce platform. In addition, the client wanted all of the pages from their old HTML website recreated so we set up several custom templates to facilitate that.
